He began to study electric bass at 16 years old.
On first instance he attended the Scuola Civica Musicale in Moncalieri and Valentino Studio in Torino, two classical-oriented music schools. From 1999 to 2004 he attended C.F.M.’s courses in Torino, where he studied with Roman double-bass player Alessandro MAIORINO, who introduces him to the art of jazz improvisation. At C.F.M. he also attended the combo classes with Emanuele CISI and theory and jazz harmony classes with pianist Giancarlo CAPOZZOLI and later with saxophone player Fabio GURIAN. In 2002 he attended a workshop with brazilian bassist Alfredo PAIXAO.
At present he plays in live-band MANIACS (70s and 80s disco music) too.
